Shaun Skavang / Assistant Coach

After a brief stint in 2014, Skavang returns to the Hardrocker Athletic Training Staff and is in his second full year.  In 2014, Skavang was the head athletic trainer at LCCC in 2014.  He also spent time with the Minnesota Vikings serving as a training camp and pre-season intern where he assisted with treatment and rehabilitation of injured players.

For the Wyoming Cavalry, Skavang was an athletic trainer responsible for covering all home games during the 2013 season. From 2011 to 2013, Skavang was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Wyoming where he worked with the football team and spirit squad.

Skavang is a 2011 graduate of Minnesota State University where he received a Bachelor of Athletic Training degree. During his time at Minnesota State, Skavang was an athletic training student where he helped with several varsity sports including travel assignments with the men’s basketball games on the road. In addition to his duties at Minnesota State, Skavang also worked with Mankato East High School football and soccer teams.

In May of 2013, Skavang earned a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health from the University of Wyoming. Shaun's primary duties will be the men's soccer and baskeball programs.
